My mission statement is:
Happy People! Happy Hormones! Happy Hour!
I would like to replace the television with a variety of entertainment,
incorporating a variety of entertainment and activities for one hour in order to :
Brighten a service users day, week or month!
Give them something to remember.
To put a sparkle in their eye.
My aim is to:
Introduce change to service users in the manner of a variety show and activities.
My objectives to achieve this include:
The making of musical instruments in a workshop, then using these instruments to play along with popular songs from the 1940's - 1990's. I also provide percussion instruments where necessary.
Using a sing-a-long sheet.
Playing sounds to see what service users recognise.
Dressing up as characters to sing well known songs from the past.
Reminiscence groups.
Recognising objects in order to start a conversation
and / or group activity.
All hourly sessions are broken into 15 minute acts
and cost £65 per session.

Chair Mobility to music
Chair based movement for fitness improvement.
Percussion Workshops
I provide the percussion instruments and then we use these to play along to music from
different eras.
Sing Along
Where we sing-a-long to or use songsheets of nostalgic songs.
Make It and Shake It - A Great Stress Buster
We make musical instruments and use them to play along to sounds.
Music Therapy
Music therapy is the use of music to restore, mantain & improve
emotional, physical health and well-being.

I entertain in care homes and day centres and my service can be adapted to suit the needs for all.
I can work with every group, people with learning disabilities to less able bodied and older people.

Entertainment sessions are £65 per Hour
All workshops that I do are set at an hourly rate with prices to be negociated.
